Megurine Luka - Batter up - by flipocrisy (draft)

Here's a quick snap of something I'm working on for a little forum contest in the Project Diva Wiki community. Started with a rough sketch, scanned into the computer to work on it digitally but realized they wanted traditional art. Redrew on the sketchpad with updates, and rescanned. The scanned version didn't seem to capture very well, so uploading the snapshot. I am going to finish this work digitally with colors, but anyway about the pic...

The theme given was Summer Memories. I thought up a few things, and while working on some generic pose it suddenly morphed into a sporty outfit. That eventually changed into a sports theme entirely. In this case, baseball. I recalled some idol Hoshino Aki who got a lot of press for her first pitch at a ball game, and decided to use that for Luka's outfit.

I'm laying down base colors at this point, so the digital version should be completed relatively soon.
